Adult Services
What Are Adult Mental Health Services?
Almost half of adults will experience a mental illness during their lifetime. Mental illness impacts individuals across culture, gender, age, and economic spectrums. Left untreated, mental illness can have wide-reaching effects on a person’s health, educational achievement, employment and well-being.
Enki’s mission is to bring hope to our community by providing quality, responsive behavioral services . The services we typically provide include medication management, group therapy, group skills building, peer support, case management, and other supportive services.
“Groups First” Treatment Approach
To provide increased access to services, our trained clinical teams utilize a groups first approach, offering a variety of skills building and therapy groups.
Group therapy is a type of psychological treatment where a small group of people meet regularly to discuss their mental health challenges and support each other under the guidance of a trained therapist. The goal of group therapy is to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can share their experiences, thoughts, and feelings with others who are going through similar challenges.
Group therapy can be a powerful tool for promoting healing, growth, and change. By being part of a group of people who are facing similar challenges, individuals can build stronger connections, gain a greater sense of empathy and understanding, and develop a more positive outlook on life.
